I know I know I'm a day late... but...

Happy First Fashion Friday!  I am so very excited by my first fashion flip.  Here's the goal, every Friday I'm going to either highlight a show, designer, celebrity or piece in 21 words exactly.  Be Inspired... Miss. A

Miss A, the Savvy Sistah

SAG. A Beautiful thing.

Did you see it?  It was one of those rare and fleeting pieces of history when we as sistahz were represented in a moment of raw and genuine beauty.  Flawless talent transcended the 18th annual SAG awards last night, and ladies, you done us proud.

This was a night of honest and worthy recognition.  No talk of quota's needing to met.  Not big hoopla around all the "black nominee's".  Just matter of fact winning for roles that were well written, and clealy represented.

There is a certain amount of humiltiy and aspiration that aurates around both Miss Octavia and Miss Viola.  Confident in ability, they were gratious in acknowledgment.  To be recognized among their peers, it was an honour well deserved, and well received.

I applaud and am fiercly inspired by their winning.  They carry these nods with responsibility... not ego, teaching us that success is not just about showing up, but showing up day after day, time and time again. A virtue and humility that many on the red carpet could learn from.

With grace, may you both continue to be bold, beautiful and brave.

Much Love,
Miss A
